A semi that was eastbound on I-670, just east of I-70 went off an overpass about 3:50 p.m. Sunday, June 24, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The Freightliner semi, which was pulling a box trailer, failed to make the curve, struck the outside barrier wall and fell off the roadway, the report stated.
The driver, a 54-year-old man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
