Two Unified Government committees are scheduled to meet tonight.
The Public Works and Safety Committee is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Monday, June 18, in the fifth floor conference room, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
On the agenda are resolutions for Pump Station 61 force main improvements, from Donahoo Road and 123rd north along 123rd to 123rd Terrace, then to Wingfoot Drive. The resolution would direct the UG attorney to authorize a survey for property necessary to acquire property for this project, and submit an ordinance authorizing eminent domain if necessary.
Also on the 5 p.m. agenda is a resolution for the Hutton Road sanitary sewer main extension. The resolution would authorize the UG attorney to take a survey of the property to be acquired by the project, and to submit an ordinance authorizing the exercise of eminent domain.
Also on the 5 p.m. agenda is an update on the UG fiber network; a follow-up on roadside memorials; and a presentation on the traffic management guide.
The UG Administration and Human Services Committee will meet in the fifth floor conference room after the end of the PWS Committee meeting.
On the agenda is an update on the myWyco mobile application deployment.
