Warm, humid weather ahead today

Today’s weather will be warm and humid, with increasing storm chances Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Isolated non-severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon, the weather service said.

Increasing chances for thunderstorms arrive on Friday, and a few storms may be briefly strong during the afternoon. Looking ahead to Memorial Day, the forecast is sunny and 92 degrees.

Today, there is a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 87 with a south southeast wind of 6 to 10 mph.

Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 p.m., with a low of 68, according to the weather service. There will be a south wind of 7 to 9 mph.

Friday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 87, the weather service said, and a south southwest wind of 7 to 9 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is expected.

Friday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 67 with a south southwest wind of 5 to 7 mph.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 93 and a west southwest wind of 3 to 5 mph, the weather service said.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 70, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny with a high near 92, the weather service said.

Sunday night, the low will be around 70 with mostly clear skies, according to the weather service.

Monday, Memorial Day, it will be sunny with a high of 92, the weather service said.

Monday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 70, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 90, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 70, according to the weather service.
