The victim of a homicide in the 1500 block of North 5th Street has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
The victim was Mohamed A. Mohamud, 28, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, the spokesman stated.
Police responded to a shooting at 8:52 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, on North 5th Street, according to the spokesman.
When they arrived, officers found a man inside a vehicle, the spokesman stated. The man was deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
