A Kids on Campus Summer Camp is planned from June 4 to July 27 at Kansas City Kansas Community College, 7250 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
Registration is open for the camp, whose partners include KCKCC, Kansas State University, the American Royal and KC United Youth Sports and Recreation Initiative.
The camp is for ages 8 to 18 and is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
The cost of the camp is $79 per week or $569 for all eight weeks. There is a $25 nonrefundable application fee. A physical is required. Payments are due by May 31.
Activities will include educational programs as well as sports activities, swimming, golf, math and science enrichment, life skills and career planning. Participants may attend some American Royal events.
A parent orientation program is scheduled at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. May 31.
The camp will provide breakfast, lunch and a snack daily. The Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools will provide transportation for those who live in the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools district.
