An injury-accident was reported about 5:12 p.m. Friday, April 20, on eastbound I-70 west of I-635, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol’s crash log.
The vehicles were eastbound on I-70 when a Chrysler Town and Country slowed for traffic and a Ford Crown Victoria hit the back of the Chrysler Town and Country, the trooper’s crash report stated.
The driver of the Crown Victoria, an 84-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had a possible injury and was taken to the hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
A passenger in the Crown Victoria, a 59-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, was injured and was taken to the hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the Town and Country, a 28-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas, man, was not injured, according to the trooper’s report.
