Barnyard Babies to be Saturday at Ag Hall

Barnyard Babies, featuring young farm animals, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, 126th and State, Bonner Springs.

The event will feature life on a farm, a tractor petting zoo, kiddie pedal pull contests and giant balloon animals. There will be many baby farm animals at the event.

The Ag Hall’s Farm Town exhibit will be open, with a working blacksmith shop and train rides. Those who attend will be able to participate in a kids’ market and meet a farmer. They can also learn about milking a cow.

In addition, the Ag Hall’s art gallery will be open. Operation WildLife representatives also will be present.

Those attending will receive a Farm Passport, a map and a Barnyard Buck, and will be able to get their passports stamped at the different discovery zones. The children may redeem the Barnyard Buck for fresh produce at the kids’ market.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for under age 3.
