Weather: Temperatures to reach mid-60s today

Tuesday could be the nicest weather day this week.

A cold front is expected to move into the area tonight or Wednesday, with a secondary cold front Wednesday afternoon.

Today, the high will be near 66 with partly sunny skies, the National Weather Service said. An east wind of 10 to 15 mph may gust as high as 21 mph.

Tonight, expect a low of 45 with an east wind of 7 to 17 mph becoming northwest after midnight, and gusting as high as 26 mph, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, the high will be near 55 with mostly sunny skies and a west northwest wind of 16 to 23 mph, gusting to 31 mph, the weather service said. There will be an elevated fire danger on Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday night, the low will be around 35, according to the weather service. A northwest wind of 13 to 18 mph may decrease to 7 to 12 mph in the evening, and winds may gust as high as 28 mph.

Thursday, temperatures will reach a high of 57 with sunny skies and a north wind of 7 to 9 mph, the weather service said.

Thursday night, the low will be around 37 with mostly clear skies, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 60, the weather service said.

Friday night, the low will be around 44 with mostly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Saturday, the high will be near 57 with a 30 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m., the weather service said.
