Gusty northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph are expected by the afternoon hours, the weather service said.
Today, rain and thunderstorms are likely before noon, then a slight chance of showers between noon and 1 p.m., according to the weather service. There will be patchy fog before noon.
The high will be near 41 today, with a northeast wind of 7 to 12 mph becoming northwest 18 to 23 mph in the afternoon, the weather service said. Winds may gust as high as 31 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation is expected.

Thursday, temperatures will go up about 16 degrees, to a high of 62, the weather service said. There will be a south southwest wind of 9 to 13 mph, gusting as high as 23 mph.
