Wednesday, beware of possible fire weather conditions, according to the weather service. Winds could gust up to 23 mph with relative humidity ranging from 25 percent to 30 percent, and dry grasses throughout the area adding to the situation, according to the weather service. The highest potential for fire weather concerns will be Wednesday and Thursday, when southerly winds return but moisture lags behind.
The high on Wednesday may be near 62, with sunny skies and a light south wind becoming southwest 9 to 14 mph in the morning, and gusting as high as 23 mph, the weather service said.
Wednesday night will be clear with a low of 41 and a south southwest wind of 8 to 10 mph.
Temperatures will rise Thursday to a high near 67, the weather service said, as return flow and ridging build over the forecast area through the weekend. The wind will be 6 to 9 mph from the south southeast. There is a chance for high temperatures to be moderated by cloud cover and rain chances on Saturday.
Thursday night, there will be a 70 percent chance of showers, then showers will be likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 44, and rainfall amounts are predicted at between a tenth to a quarter of an inch.
Friday, there is a 70 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 53.
Friday night, expect a 30 percent chance of showers, with a low of 39, according to the weather service.
Saturday, the high will be near 57 with partly sunny skies, the weather service said.
