The victim of a homicide on Saturday night near Stewart Avenue and Springfield Boulevard has been identified, according to police.
The victim was Germaine D. Owens, 39, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, police stated.
Officers were called to the location about 9:45 p.m. Saturday, March 3, on reports of a shooting. They found a man who had been shot, police said. The victim died at the scene, according to police.
