The weather was bright with sunlight, temperatures in the 50s were very appreciated and the fishing fans were saying the fish were biting at Wyandotte County Lake this morning during the opening day of fishing season.

On the inside, at the Leavenworth Road Association fundraiser breakfast at the Davis Hall, customers were enjoying biscuits and sausage gravy, sausage patties and mixed fruit, along with coffee, milk or orange juice.

Thanks to all those who came out to help support the LRA fundraiser and to the devoted volunteers. It was another “fun day with LRA.”
