An injury-accident was reported about 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, on eastbound K-32 east of 121st, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Mazda was traveling eastbound on K-32 and turned on its turn signal to go back westbound on K-32, according to the trooper’s report.
A Hyundai Sonata was unable to stop in time, attempted to avoid the vehicle and struck the driver side of the Mazda, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Mazda, a 39-year-old woman from Bonner Springs, Kansas, was injured and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A 6-year-old Bonner Springs girl in the Mazda also was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
Also listed as injured and taken to a hospital was a 5-year-old Bonner Springs girl passenger in the Mazda, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Sonata, an 81-year-old man from Edwardsville, Kansas, was not injured, according to the report.
