Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes was asked about the next season at a news conference today at the new Pinnacle training center at 98th and Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas.

“We are very competitive and we are in three competitions,” Vermes said. “We will do the best we can.”

The new $75 million training facility opened for its first practice this morning. There was a media tour of the facility on Monday.
