Two more rounds of snow are possible through Tuesday night, with cold temperatures continuing, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature was 13 degrees with a wind chill of zero at 8 a.m. Monday in Wyandotte County, the weather service said. Today’s high will be near 32, with a south wind of 6 to 11 mph changing to west in the afternoon, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Tonight, the low will be around 16 with a north wind of 6 to 9 mph, according to the weather service.
Tuesday’s forecast contains a 60 percent chance of snow here at two times on Tuesday – the afternoon, then the evening, the weather service said.
Tuesday, the high will be near 22 with an east northeast wind of 7 mph. One to 2 inches of snow is possible.
Tuesday night, the 60 percent chance of snow continues before midnight, according to the weather service. The low will be around 14 with an east northeast wind of 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable. About an inch of new snow is possible.
Wednesday, the high will be near 31 with mostly sunny skies and a northwest wind of 6 mph, the weather service said.
Wednesday night, the low will be around 17, according to the weather service.
Thursday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 43, the weather service said.
Thursday night, the low will be around 29 with mostly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.
Friday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 43, the weather service said.
Friday night, there will be a chance of rain before 7 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., then a chance of snow after 8 p.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 19.
Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of snow, the weather service said. The high will be near 31.
Saturday night, there is a 30 percent chance of snow, with a low of 17, according to the weather service.
Sunday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 38, the weather service said.
