One of the three victims whose bodies were found at a house fire in the 800 block of Troup on Dec. 12 has been identified, according to Kansas City, Kansas, police.
The victim was Gwinn Green, 53, a woman who lived in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a news release from the police.
The other two victims have not been positively identified yet, according to police. The case is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department responded to the 800 block of Troup about 3:30 a.m. Dec. 12. They extinguished a fire and began an investigation, then discovered the remains of three bodies, according to police.
Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded to assist with the investigation on Dec. 12.
