A four-vehicle crash at 7 a.m. Dec. 8 on eastbound I-70 just east of Minnesota Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, resulted in injuries.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, the incident started when two vehicles were stopped and partially pulled over on the right shoulder, and partly in the right lane on I-70 near Minnesota Avenue. Another vehicle struck one of the vehicles from behind, pushing it into another one, according to the trooper’s report. Then a fourth vehicle was hit.
A 57-year-old Lawrence, Kansas, woman driving a Nissan Altima was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
A 55-year-old Basehor, Kansas, man driving a Hyundai Sonata had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A 33-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man who was outside of his parked Dodge Dakota was not injured, the report stated.
A Chevrolet Silverado was towed.
