Bell wins his first XFINITY race at Kansas Speedway

Christopher Bell won the Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday afternoon at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.

It was Bell’s first career NASCAR XFINITY Series win. Bell won after pulling ahead of Erik Jones with 10 laps to go. Jones had led for almost all of the race, winning both stages.

It was Bell’s fifth career XFINITY start and his second race on an intermediate track.

Racing continues Sunday with the Monster Energy NASCAR Series Hollywood Casino 400. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is in his last season of racing. Kansas Speedway President Pat Warren made a donation in Earnhardt Jr.’s name to the University of Kansas Medical Center pediatrics department on Saturday.
