The Kansas City Kansas Community College Art Gallery is holding a “Paint Nite” next month to help bring out everyone’s artistic spirit and to raise money at the same time.
“Paint Nite” is from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 in the art gallery-deli area of Lower Jewell on the KCKCC Main Campus, 7250 State Ave. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at https://www.paintnite.com/events/-10018394. A portion of the proceeds will go to the KCKCC Art Gallery. There will also be refreshments and wine (for ages 21+).
During the event, Tonya Lueck, a local artist, will help guide attendees to create a painting of their own. You do not have to be an artist to enjoy this event. It is just fun and perfect for a date night, girls night out, mother-daughter bonding or a relaxing evening with friends. “Paint Nite” is an opportunity for everyone to let their creativity shine.
More information on “Paint Nite” can be found on the Art Gallery’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/KCKCCArtGallery/ or by calling Shai Perry at 913-288-7408.
