A tornado watch that earlier was in effect through 1 a.m. has been dropped, according to the National Weather Service.
The Board of Public Utilities outage map reported 730 customers without power as of about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Earlier in the evening, about 5:50 p.m., there were about 1,008 customers without power in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the BPU outage map.
More than 1 inch of rain fell on Saturday evening.
Sunday’s forecast is sunny with a high near 61 and a north northwest wind of 9 to 11 mph, according to the weather service.
