A Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Davern Hall, 3024 N. 53rd St., Kansas City, Kansas. Proceeds from the breakfast will go toward Project Grad at Bishop Ward High School.
Holy Family Catholic Church will hold a dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the parish cafeteria at 1007 Southwest Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas. The Holy Name Divas are sponsoring the dinner to raise funds for scholarships and for church remodeling. The meal will cost $7 and will include tacos and tostadas. There will be music by Stranded in the City.

Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kan., will meet from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday, Oct. 19, to plan for the 160th anniversary celebration of the parish. The church was founded in 1857 and is among the oldest Episcopal churches in the Diocese of Kansas. Parish members will attend the 158th annual convention of the diocese Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20 and 21, in Topeka. The parish will observe the twentieth Sunday after Pentecost at 10 a.m. Oct. 22.
