Kansas City Kansas Community College’s soccer teams return home Tuesday to play host to Allen County after being swept by Neosho County Saturday.
The Allen County and KCKCC women will kick off at 5 p.m. with the men’s contest to follow at 7:30 p.m.
The Lady Blue Devils dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker at Neosho County while the Blue Devil men dropped a 6-2 decision.
“Bailey Zinser had a good game for us but we just couldn’t find the back of the net,” KCKCC women’s coach Shawn Uhlenhake said. “Hopefully a home match Tuesday will get us back on track.”
The loss dropped the KCKCC women below the .500 mark for the first time at 5-6 and 2-4 in the Jayhawk while the Blue Devil men are 5-3 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
