One injury was reported in a four-vehicle crash at 7:52 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, on southbound I-635 at Shawnee Drive in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, four vehicles were southbound on I-635 in the right lane when three of them slowed.
A Pontiac G6 struck the rear of a Toyota Corolla, which struck the rear of a Honda Pilot, which then struck the rear of a Ford Escape, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Corolla was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated. The driver is a 35-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas. A 36-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman passenger in the car was not injured, the report stated.
The driver of the Pontiac G6, a 25-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, was not injured, the report stated.
The driver of the Honda Pilot, a 32-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman, also was not injured, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Ford Escape, a 35-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man, was not injured, the report stated.
