A Kansas City, Kan., woman was killed in a traffic accident Feb. 2 on the Kansas Turnpike near the Wellington, Kan., exit in southeast Kansas.
Urmila Sharma, 25, of Kansas City, Kan., ran into the back of a maintenance truck that was painting the roadway, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report. The accident happened about 11:54 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the maintenance truck, a 52-year-old man from Wellington, Kan., had a possible injury, according to the report.
