The Kansas River in Kansas City, Kansas, at 23rd Street has dropped to 24 feet on Wednesday morning, down from 27.4 feet on Tuesday, according to NOAA charts. Flood stage is 33 feet.
Turkey Creek at Southwest Boulevard has dropped to 48.5 feet on Wednesday, from its high of 55.5 feet on Monday night and Tuesday morning, according to NOAA charts. The flood stage is 61 feet.
On Wednesday morning, Stranger Creek at Easton, Kansas, was in moderate flood stage at 20.9 feet. Flood stage there is 17 feet, according to NOAA charts.
The weather is expected to be dry for the rest of this week.
