Turkey Creek at Southwest Boulevard has reached the action stage and could go into flooding, according to a hydrology chart from NOAA.
The chart showed Turkey Creek at 58.04 feet at 10:48 p.m. Saturday, with a projection that it could continue rising into the minor flood stage at 61 feet and possibly flood stage at 67 feet.
Wyandotte County and surrounding areas are under a flash flood warning, and motorists are warned to turn around and not try to cross flooded roadways.
