A Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman today identified the victim of a fatal shooting on Thursday at 63rd and Parallel Parkway.
The victim was Derrick Horton, 39, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the spokesman said.
When officers arrived at 63rd and Parallel Parkway around 2:53 p.m. Thursday, they found Horton with multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen and legs, according to police. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.
