This year’s Business and Mastery Workshop has been extended to a full day.
The event, held by the Entrepreneurial Innovation Center, was lengthened at the request of those who attended last year, according to a spokesman.
It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at the Dr. Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center, multipurpose room, at Kansas City Kansas Community College, 6565 State Ave.
The “Business Mastery” workshop speaker will be Aaron Brauch, business consultant and coach. He is an Anthony Robbins Platinum Partnership partner and trainer.
Brauch helps entrepreneurs and professionals create extraordinary performance in their businesses and lives.
Brauch went from his dining room table to a $3.7 million business in six years.
Former Kansas Commerce Secretary Antonio J. Soave will speak on “Commerce and the Entrepreneur.”
Soave is also the former chairman, president and CEO of CGA Inc. in Overland Park, Kansas, a boutique business transactions firm with international offices.
He helped many businesses expand their operations abroad through CGA. His experience spans several sectors, including rail, infrastructure, oil and gas, construction, automotive, agriculture, biotech, health care and heavy manufacturing.
Ruben West, a coach and trainer, will be the “Life Mastery” workshop presenter.
West is a speaker, trainer, author and professional success coach. His coaching system is aimed at helping persons to improve productivity, assist with relationships and spend time on what they most care about.
He is the author of “The Surgical First Assistant, Destination Mastery, Live Your Best Life” series.
The workshop includes a continental breakfast, lunch and a networking event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with adult beverages and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
