A job fair is planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Kansas City Kansas Community College Burke Technical Center, 6565 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
The job fair was announced by U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-3rd Dist.
The first hour of the job fair, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., is only for veterans. The rest of the job fair, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is open to the public.
Exhibitors are asked to register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/congressman-kevin-yoder-job-fair-and-resource-event-tickets-36420599995. Space is limited.
Job seekers do not need to register. According to information from the sponsor, job seekers should dress for the job interview and bring several copies of their resume. There is no fee to attend.
