Today at the fair

Friday at the Wyandotte County Fair will feature a livestock buyers dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Red Barn, followed by the bucket calf parade at 7:15 p.m. and a livestock auction at 7:30 p.m.

Go-kart races, a free event for spectators, will be held at 7 p.m. at the fair arena.

Entertaining in the free stage tent today will be the Sully Brothers at 7 p.m.

A free magic show will be held at the Red Barn.

A petting zoo, camel rides, pig races and bounce houses will be some of the attractions today. There are also 4-H and open class exhibits on display at the fair.

The carnival continues at the fair, with $25 wristband night, from 6 to 10 p.m.

Helicopter rides will be 5 p.m. to dark on Friday, and noon until dark on Saturday, weather permitting.

The Wyandotte County Fair is scheduled to be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 14, at 13700 Polfer Road, Kansas City, Kansas. The location is east of K-7 on Polfer Road. The fair continues through Saturday evening.
