Four residents were injured in a house fire Tuesday, July 11, at 1299 S. 37th St., according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department spokesman.
Of the four persons admitted to a hospital, two were in critical condition and two in stable condition, according to the spokesman.
Two of the residents of the single-story wood-framed house left the building by themselves and two were rescued by fire personnel from the structure, the spokesman said.
Fire crews arrived within four minutes of the call, and the fire was brought under control within 45 minutes, the spokesman said. The estimated loss to the structure was $15,000, according to the spokesman.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire, according to the spokesman.
