Another shooting reported in 1800 block of North 36th

Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating another shooting on Sunday afternoon in the 1800 block of North 36th Street.

According to a police spokesman, a call came in about the shooting at 5:15 p.m.

The victim is a man in his 20s, according to police, who is in serious condition at this time.

Police do not believe this shooting was related to other shootings this weekend, the spokesman stated.

A fatal shooting occurred in the parking area of a laundromat near 48th and Parallel Parkway at 3:35 p.m. Sunday, police said earlier today. Another homicide was reported about 3:43 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Waverly involving a rolling disturbance in vehicles on 3rd Street.

Two other homicides were reported Saturday, including one at 6:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Walker Avenue, and one at 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of Lloyd, according to police. The homicides are not believed to be related.
