Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide at 1st and Walker, according to authorities.
Police officers responded to a shooting about 6:45 p.m. Saturday, July 1, in the 100 block of Walker Avenue, a police spokesman stated.
Officers found a male in his 20s who was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the spokesman.
The identity of the victim will be released when there is positive identification and family notification.
