An injury was reported in a crash at 3:40 a.m. Saturday, June 17, on westbound I-70, east of the 57th Street exit in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report, a Honda Civic was westbound when it entered the median, rode up and onto the barrier wall, flipped onto its right side, crossed all three lanes of traffic and struck the right shoulder wall.
The Civic then came back onto its wheels, backed across three lanes of traffic and came to rest, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Civic, a 21-year-old woman from Tulsa, Okla., was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
