With many residents still without power following a Friday night storm, and with an excessive heat warning in effect from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, the Unified Government has announced a list of cooling centers that will be open today.
According to a note on the library’s website, the West Wyandotte Library on North 82nd Street is closed today because of a power outage.
Cooling Centers:
KCK Libraries are open. People will be asked to use library resources while there, and sleeping is not allowed. Libraries are a great place to stay cool and read.
