An injury-accident was reported about 5:33 p.m. Monday, June 12, on the I-435 southbound ramp to eastbound I-70 in Wyandotte County, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
An Acura was southbound on I-435 on the ramp to eastbound I-70 when it changed lanes and struck a Yamaha V-Star motorcycle, the report stated.
The motorcyclist, a 36-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, was injured and taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated. The driver was wearing eye protection, but no helmet, the report stated.
The driver of the Acura, a 24-year-old woman from Kansas City, Mo., was not injured, according to the report.
