A drowning victim from Pierson Park Lake on Sunday has been identified as 17-year-old Elmer Adolfo Castro-Sagastume, stated a spokesman for the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Department.
The preliminary autopsy reports have listed the cause of death as drowning, the spokesman stated. There was no evidence of criminal intent, the spokesman stated.
Castro-Sagastume drowned on Sunday morning at Pierson Park Lake, which is near South 55th and Douglas in Kansas City, Kansas. His body was found Sunday afternoon after a search by rescue crews.
