Kiwanis Bike Rodeo today
The free Kiwanis West Bike Rodeo will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 13, at the Schlitterbahn Waterpark, 94th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. Elementary-aged youth will have the opportunity to learn tips on cycling safety, get free bike safety helmets and T-Shirts and see some attractions at the water park. The event is free and open to the public. Child car seat safety checks also will be available.

Mother’s Day program planned at library
The South Branch Library is planning a Mother’s Day program from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 13. The program will include music. The program is in Meeting Room A at the library, 3104 Strong Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.

Racing continues at Kansas Speedway Saturday
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling 400 race takes place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.
