Thursday will be much drier, weather service says

Much drier conditions are in store today in the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Numerous river flood warnings are in effect to the south and east of the Kansas City area, according to the weather service. In Wyandotte County, the Missouri and Kansas rivers are well below flood stage.

Today’s weather will be sunny with a high near 66, the weather service said. A north wind of 7 to 17 mph may gust as high as 26 mph.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear with a low of 45, according to the weather service. A north wind of 8 to 14 mph may gust as high as 18 mph.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 70, the weather service said. There will be a north northwest wind of 7 to 11 mph.

Friday night, it will be clear with a low of 49, according to the weather service. There will be a north northwest wind of 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 78, the weather service said. There will be a northwest wind of 6 to 9 mph.

Saturday night, it will be clear with a low of 51, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny with a high near 77, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 58, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 80, the weather service said.
