A vehicle that was eastbound on I-70 between I-435 and 78th Street hydroplaned this morning, hitting a barrier wall, according to a trooper’s report.
The accident happened about 8:47 a.m. May 3 east of the I-435 exit, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
The 38-year-old Lawrence, Kan., driver of an Infiniti G was injured and was taken to the hospital, the report stated.
It was raining Wednesday morning.
