Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide Saturday night in the 800 block of Troup Avenue, according to a police spokesman.
Police responded to a shooting about 8:14 p.m. April 22, the spokesman said. They found a woman in her early 20s, dead from an apparent gunshot wound inside a residence.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until there is positive identification and family notification, police said.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating. Police urged anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
