Law enforcement officers responded to a reported shooting at 28th and Silver Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, on Tuesday night.
According to a spokesman for Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Kansas City, Mo., ATF agents also responded to the shooting in a supportive role, and worked together with the local police as part of a violent crime task force.
Officers responded to a “shots fired” call and were told that someone was shot at, but no one was hit. No one was in custody last night.
An investigation led to the execution of a state search warrant, the ATF spokesman said. No federal charges had been filed in connection with the event by Wednesday afternoon.
