A settlement was reported in the Verruckt accident case involving the Schlitterbahn water park from August 2016.
Two victims have reached a settlement with Schlitterbahn; however, terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
A partner in a law firm representing the victims said he could not comment on the case, other than to say “it is resolved.”
In the accident on Aug. 7, 2016, a 10-year-old boy was killed, and a settlement was reached earlier with his family. Two other persons riding in the water slide raft were injured.
The Verruckt, the world’s tallest water slide, will be dismantled after all legal action is completed, the water park stated last year.
