Church plans to drop 10,000 eggs from helicopter on Easter

Praise Chapel KC, 3640 N. 67th St., plans to drop 10,000 eggs from a helicopter during the 10 a.m. service on Easter, April 16.

The church, which also had a similar egg drop last year, plans to give away four bikes and provide lunch on Easter.

Services, the lunch and the Easter “Eggstravaganza” egg drop are open to the public at no charge.

There is also a special presentation on Easter for children. According to the church, the main message of Easter is salvation, resurrection and the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice, and those messages will be included in Easter services.
