Beautiful spring weather is in today’s forecast from the National Weather Service.
The high today will be near 68 with sunny skies and a west wind of 7 to 16 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph, the weather service said.
Tuesday will be another beautiful spring day, with temperatures in the mid-60s, according to the weather service.
The weather changes on Wednesday, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. The high will be 72, and a south southeast wind of 5 to 13 mph will gust as high as 22 mph.
Periodic thunderstorm chances will return Wednesday night and last through the end of the week, the weather service said. Locally heavy rain is possible with these storms. From a quarter to a half-inch of rain is possible here. The threat for strong or severe storms appears low at this time.
Thursday, expect a high of 71 with a 30 percent chance of showers, the weather service said. More showers are possible Thursday night.
Friday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers with a high near 75, according to the weather service. Friday night’s low will be around 62.
Saturday’s forecast contains a 40 percent chance of rain with a high near 75, according to the weather service.
The Easter Sunday forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 70, the weather service said.
