Polski Day will be held on Saturday, May 6, at All Saints Catholic Church, 809 Vermont Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. Polski Day kicks off with a parade at 11 a.m. May 6 at 14th and Central, ending at All Saints parish, where the event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Music, food and games are planned. A 4 p.m. polka Mass then follows at All Saints parish.

Judson Baptist Church, 8300 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13. A children’s Easter party, for age 2 through fifth grade, is planned from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 15 at the church Fellowship Hall. There will be an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 16. The Gospel Non-Violence Study Group will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 10, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The program will be presented by Peg Burns Kerbawy, developer of “Our Golden Thread, Gospel Nonviolence Curriculum Materials.” The group will discuss the message of nonviolence that has been preached by Jesus and others through the ages. Open Door Baptist Church, 3033 N. 103rd Terrace, will have a Palm Sunday choir cantata at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 9. The church plans an Easter breakfast from 8:45 to 10 a.m. Sunday, April 16. Praise Chapel KC, 3650 N. 67th St., will be dropping 10,000 eggs from a helicopter at the 10 a.m. service on Easter Sunday, April 16. Also, the church is giving away four bikes and providing lunch on Easter. The event is free to the public. The church also plans a special presentation for children on why Easter is celebrated. According to a spokesman, the church will spread the message of salvation, Jesus’ sacrifice and Jesus’ love. For more information see www.praisechapelkc.com.

St. Patrick Catholic parish is holding a Lenten fish dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Fridays during Lent at the parish center, 94th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. The cost of the dinner will be $10 per person for a cod, catfish and fried shrimp plate; $11 per person for boiled shrimp plate; and $30 for a family dinner.

Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kan., will hold Palm Sunday services at 10 a.m. April 9; an adult study session will follow at 11:30. A service in Spanish will be at 5 p.m.
