Injuries were reported after a rollover accident about 11:11 on Friday, April 7, on northbound I-35 and 18th Street Expressway, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
A sport utility vehicle was northbound on I-35 when it attempted to exit onto 18th Street Expressway, the police spokesman stated.
The vehicle struck a barrier, causing it to slide and roll before coming to a stop on the ramp, the spokesman stated.
Six persons, including two adults and four children, were inside the vehicle, police stated. The driver and all the children were taken to hospitals. One of the juveniles is in serious condition.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team.
