‘Coffee with Birds’ planned
“Coffee with the Birds” is planned from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Environmental Library at Wyandotte County Lake Park, 91st and Leavenworth Road. People may stop by and enjoy coffee, hot chocolate or tea as they watch the birds in the park.

Quilting program offered
Learn to quilt at a program from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the West Wyandotte Library, conference room C, 1737 N. 82nd, Kansas City, Kan. The program covers the basics of quilting, along with new skills. It is for age 11 and older. Registration is required in advance to 913-295-8250.

Mardi Gras Party planned
The West Wyandotte Library, 1737 N. 82nd, Kansas City, Kan., is planning a Mardi Gras Party from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the library auditorium. The program is for all ages. Try some New Orleans-style food and create a mask at the party.

Drum Safari Puppet Show to be Feb. 25
The Bonner Springs City Library, 201 N. Nettleton Ave., Bonner Springs, will sponsor a Drum Safari Puppet Show at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25. Comedian appears Saturday night at Stanford and Son’s
Quinn Dahle is appearing on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Stanford and Son’s Comedy Club at The Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kan. Shows are at 7:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. The event is open to those 18 and older. Dahle has appeared on television shows including Comedy Central and The Tonight Show.
