Make coloring sheet magnets
Adults and senior adults may participate in a craft program from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Main Kansas City, Kan., Public Library, first floor program room, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan. For those who are not sure of what to do with their adult coloring book designs, this class will show people how to make their designs into magnets. There are also designs available from others that can be used. Teens may attend the program if accompanied by an adult. There is a $3 cost for supplies. Registration is required. ‘Miracle on 55th Street Lighting’ planned Nov. 26
The Turner Recreation Commission plans its “Miracle on 55th Street Lighting” ceremony from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. The Turner Recreation Commission, 831 S. 55th, will be lit, along with lights on South 55th Street, and there will be caroling, hot cocoa and a movie, “The Polar Express,” on the Turner Recreation Commission screen.
