An injury-accident was reported on eastbound I-70 June 3 in Kansas City, Kan., when a tire came off a Chrysler.
According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report, a 38-year-old woman was driving a Chrysler on I-70 near Park Drive about 2:34 p.m. Tuesday when a tire came off, bounced over the wall, and hit a semi that was traveling in the other direction on I-70.
The driver of the Chrysler was not injured, according to the report, but the driver of the semi was reported injured. The semi driver was a 40-year-old man from Independence, Mo.
